Russell and Rachel met in 2017 after they were introduced by mutual friends. Russell works at Farley Nuclear Plant and Rachel is a Dermatology Physician Assistant. Over the last few years, they have enjoyed spending many weekends at Seacrest Beach. Russell and Rachel got engaged on the green space at Rosemary Beach in July 2019 and were married in April 2020!

Meet Russell

Russell is a graduate from Georgia Tech and he spent much time visiting the Rosemary Beach area and fell in love. He knew he wanted to purchase a house in that area. After looking for a home for nearly two years, he finally found the perfect beach house. He purchased the house in 2015. He, his father and his uncle spent several weeks building furniture for the house including custom bunk beds.

“We loved our stay at Anchors Away. The owner has thought of everything. The house is beautiful and just a short walk to the beach. We had everything we needed - bikes, beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, and even a Yeti cooler to take to the beach. We will definitely be back!!"

“This house was located on a quiet dead end street that allowed us to enjoy the spacious front porch and the wonderful lounging swing all week. The house was also well stocked with games, beach gear and bikes for our grandchildren. The upstairs bunkroom was very comfortable with 4 queen size bunk beds and dual TVs for viewing and gaming by our grandkids. We loved the area and location. Russell was always a text away if we had questions. Highly recommend this home.”
